Description
MBX brand disc-type wafer check valves are used in cold, hot and steam water networks to prevent fluid backflow, thus preventing damage to equipment; Basically, when the fluid pressure exceeds the pressure against the check valve spring, it allows it to open, allowing the fluid to pass through. When the fluid pressure decreases, the spring closes the valve, preventing reverse flow.
