Expanded PTFE adhesive tape is widely used because it is chemically resistant and is used in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. It is also non-contaminating and is suitable for the food industry: in the dairy, beverage, meatpacking, textile, chemical, boiler manufacturing sectors, among others. What stands out is that it can be used on any type of flange. Its exposure to water does not pose a risk, as does its use in corrosive environments.
