The 2000-lb MBX needle valve meets the demands of fine flow control in vacuum systems where precision is essential. With an extremely fine-pointed conical obturator, it provides delicate and effective adjustment. Its versatility allows it to be used with fluids such as water, mineral, synthetic and vegetable oils, as well as steam and air, making it a practical and reliable solution for a variety of industrial environments.
When closed, the needle fits snugly into a ring in the valve body, sealing the passage precisely. When the valve is opened, the needle moves smoothly, creating an annular passage around it, which allows for progressive and detailed flow control. The adjustment capacity depends on the smoothness of the needle angle and the ratio between its length and diameter. Thus, the longer the needle, the greater the adjustment capacity, allowing extremely fine adjustments that are essential for sensitive operations.
